Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains when and how we refund subscription payments for the Khomkai service. It applies in addition to your statutory consumer rights.

Subscription cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time from the billing portal in three clicks (Studio → Billing → Cancel subscription).

After cancellation you retain full access to paid features until the end of the current billing period.

We do not offer partial refunds for unused portions of an in-progress billing period, except where required by consumer law.

UK and EEA 14-day cooling-off

If you are a consumer in the UK or EEA, you have a statutory 14-day right to cancel a renewal or new subscription for a full refund, provided you have not consumed substantial service value during that period (for example, generated dishes or reels close to the monthly allowance).

To exercise this right, email us within 14 days of the renewal at support@khomkaithaicuisine.com with your account email and the order ID.

Yearly subscriptions

We will email a renewal reminder 10–14 days before a yearly subscription auto-renews.

If you cancel a yearly subscription within 14 days of renewal and have not generated more than 10% of the included monthly allowance during that period, we will issue a full refund. After that, we issue refunds for unused, unconsumed months on a discretionary, pro-rata basis.

AI output disputes

We do not offer unconditional refunds for AI outputs (recipes, plating cards, video reels). If you are dissatisfied with the quality of an output, please contact us — at our discretion we may re-generate the output, restore the allowance unit or offer a goodwill credit.

How to request a refund

Email support@khomkaithaicuisine.com with: account email, the order ID or charge date, the payment processor shown on your receipt (Stripe, PayPal or Creem), the reason for the refund, and any relevant context (for example, a screenshot of the issue).

We acknowledge requests within two working days and decide within five working days. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within 5–10 working days; the exact timing depends on the processor (Stripe and Creem typically settle within 5–10 working days; PayPal balance refunds are usually instant while card-funded PayPal refunds take up to 30 days at the issuer).

Payment processors and refund routing

Khomkai works with Stripe, PayPal and Creem. The processor used for your subscription is shown at checkout and on every receipt. Refunds are always issued back through the original processor, never as bank transfer or PayPal Friends-and-Family.

For PayPal billing agreements: cancelling the subscription in PayPal alone does not cancel your Khomkai account. Always cancel from the Khomkai billing portal first; otherwise you may lose access while still being billed in error, in which case email us within 30 days and we will refund any charges incurred.

Disputes and chargebacks

Please contact support before opening a payment dispute or chargeback with your card issuer or with PayPal. Disputes filed without prior contact may delay resolution and may result in temporary account suspension while we investigate.

We respond to chargebacks within the time window required by the processor (Stripe: 7 days; PayPal: 10 days; Creem: 7 days) with the following evidence: terms of service acceptance log, recipe / reel / plating-card delivery log, payment receipt, billing-portal cancellation log (if any), and support correspondence.
